We all need brushing up on our painting skills from time to time, or, if you have never tried oil paints before, Alex will take you through the basics.
He has shown his work throughout the UK, Spain and Ireland and in 2002 he was awarded the Sidney Cooper prize for drawing. In 2010 he gained the Denis Mahon scholarship from the Royal Drawing School and in 2012 he received the Phyllis Roberts award from the Royal Institute of Oil Painters.
Alex lives in Dorset and currently teaches a weekly painting class for sherbornearts.org
