Melanie is a professional sculptor based in Somerset. She uses wire as a way of form, drawing the shape in the air before developing the sculpture further perhaps with layers of resin or plaster and other materials almost as if adding muscle and soft tissue to the piece.
We all need brushing up on our painting skills from time to time, or, if you have never tried oil paints before, Alex will take you through the basics.
Sarah is an exceptionally creative Mixed Media artist from Somerset who is passionate about her work and has won many awards, in particular the “Landscape Award” at Bruton Art Society’s recent Annual Exhibition.

Amanda trained at Lincoln College of Art and later completed a Degree in Fine Art and Social Context at UWE Bristol. After graduating, she moved to the South West and has settled in Frome where she has a studio and where she teaches.
Amanda has recently spent time on a new project exploring the qualities of earth pigments and their origins which she will be sharing with us. “We will use the pigments either as watercolour or acrylic, depending on your own preference of medium.”
