Hatch’s next exhibition ‘Death and Microwaves’ will be held at the secret barn in Langport over three long weekends, Friday to Sunday, from 27th October to 12th November. Lynn Baxter is one of 12 women artists invited to respond to one of the 12 elements of nature for this show, the moon being the focus of Lynn’s contribution. The image shown here is Sentinel, in brushed steel with a powder-coated mild steel base. This substantial work shares the properties of the moon’s solid iron-rich core. Her other works are in stoneware and explore the surface of the moon, its craters, lava and colouration.
