“Christmas : Beyond the Familiar”
A lecture by Colin Wiggins
In this years Christmas lecture Colin Wiggins will investigate the often surprising ways that artists have illustrated the Christmas stories and not always from the standard Christian texts.
Colin Wiggins is a very well known and respected Lecturer. He worked at the National Gallery for over 30 years and retired in 2016. He curated exhibitions of work by amongst others Frank Auerbach, Lucien Freud and Bridget Riley.
