Frederick George Davis is an award winning international contemporary artist living between his homes in Dorset and the South of France. He has exhibited widely in the UK and abroad with work in private collections worldwide. He is a member of several societies, including The St Ives Society of Artists, The St Ives Arts Club and The Bruton Art Society. His work ranges from bright colourful abstracts, mixed media assemblages, experiments in texture and surface qualities and innovative use of collage and textiles. Colour, line and pattern are critical elements in his work serving to emphasise compositional potency, often referencing his personal insights, memories and experiences in original and intimate ways.
