Artists303 is a professional West Country group fo Artists303 is a professional West Country group formed in Ilminster in 1965 by artists living and working in towns and villages near the A303. The main aims are to encourage members to maintain a progressively creative and serious approach towards their the work; promote each others work through exhibitions; to help support the Visual Arts.

Currently there are 9 active members, entry is by election based on the quality of submitted work. The group has maintained its standards over the years, continuing to enhance its reputation.

The strength of Artists303, lies in its diverse disciplines of painting, stitch work, printmaking, mixed media and sculpture. Images produced by the contemporary group range from abstract to figurative, are imaginative and energetic and have broad appeal. #artists303

As the dust settles on our 70th Annual Exhibition, As the dust settles on our 70th Annual Exhibition, we can all reflect on a job very well done. The show received almost unanimous praise, but of course none of it would have happened without the effort of a lot of people, from the high quality submissions of over 150 members to the crowd of volunteers who helped to hang and man the event. Thanks are also due to our loyal sponsors and to the entire committee for months of careful planning, but one person in particular should be mentioned for her unstinting efforts (for a second year) and that is Sally Ridout, our curator.
LAST DAY! "Away" by Pat Wood is just one of the wo LAST DAY! "Away" by Pat Wood is just one of the wonderful collection of pieces at the 70th Anniversary Exhibition at Kings School Memorial Hall, Bruton. By popular acknowledgement this is one of the best shows that Bruton Art Society has put on, and it will finish today, Saturday 26th August at 4pm. Last chance to see the show! Still plenty of work for sale! #artexhibition #artforsale #regionalart #sculptureforsale #sculpture #painting
