Trained at Birmingham College of art and Design foundation Course and Fine Art Painting at Norwich School of Art. I ran a gallery in Norfolk and then in Castle Cary where along with representing many artists in painting, ceramics, sculpture and jewellery I was able to exhibit my own work.
Since moving from Norfolk to Somerset I have enjoyed travelling the coastal paths of the South West, moors and conservation areas. I sketch, using carbon and inks, in situ to develop an idea before working in oils back at the studio.
I have exhibited at Royal Birmingham Society for Arts, Wells Maltings Heritage Centre in Norfolk, the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, the Royal Bath and West shows (winner of Chairman’s Choice Prize) and Bruton Arts Society annual exhibitions and Somerset Art Weeks.
I donate 20% of my sales to TPRF Peace Education Program and the Food for People Program.
