Courses and Workshops.

17th. – 21st. March: Hazel Reeves. Portrait Sculpture. Fee: £290

Back by popular demand! Hazel will show us how to create an accurate profile before building up the face to each side. Clay will be provided. See her work, www.hazelreeves.com . Max; 10 students.

29th.April – 1st. May: Untutored 3 day workshop working with Life model. £60 for 3 days (or £25 per day for fewer days).

20th. – 22nd. May: Untutored 3 day workshop working with Life model. £60 for 3 days (or £25 per day for fewer days).

9th. – 12th. June: Lucianne Lassalle. Human Form. Fee: £290

Another favourite tutor back again by popular demand! This will be Lucianne’s 3rd summer course with us. Guiding us through making a hollow terracotta sculpture of the human form without the use of metal armatures. We are delighted that she has agreed to travel the length of Britain to be with us again. 11th. -12th. October: Andy and Diane Sinclair Animal Sculpture.

Fee £350.

I am really excited about this new course for us. It has been difficult to find quality animal sculptors who will tutor. Andy and Diane run their own Sculpture Studio in Buckinghamshire, but have kindly agreed to come and run a 2 day course designed to get you started and designed to help you to continue to produce work with the help of their information pack handed out at the end of the course.  Routine and How to Book

Daily Routine: We work from 10am to 4.30 pm with ½ hr coffee/tea breaks & 1hr for lunch. Everyone brings their own lunch, ot can buy it from The Red Barn, the village shop or from Margo at Thyme after Time at Woodrow Feeds but tea, coffee etc. is provided here.

Equipment: You will need your own equipment e.g. turntable and tools (and clay unless otherwise stated) equipment can be bought from www.tiranti.com if you are a beginner and not sure whether to invest in a turntable please let me know as we can borrow or improvise. A materials and equipment list will be provided on demand for individual course.

How To Book: Please make cheques payable to A.C. Scott, making it clear which dates/course, you are paying for to hold your place on the course with a deposit of at least half the fee (the rest payable one month before the course start date).

• NB if a course or workshop has to be cancelled due to lack of numbers or flooding etc. fees will be refunded but please note, that if you cancel, fees cannot be refunded unless a replacement student can be found in time as fees are worked out on a minimum number.
