Painting Day in a beautiful old cider orchard

On 19th May some BAS members met to paint in an old cider orchard at Stoney Stratton in the Mendips
Lesley Beazer kindly invited us to paint in her lovely 7 acre cider orchard while the blossom was out.  A lovely day together as we painted and sketched amongst a mixture of gnarled 80 year old cider apple trees along with younger eating apple trees.  As an added enticement, Black and Moorit Shetland sheep wandered among the trees.
