This is a great opportunity to see the fine collection of British Work at Pallant House, Chichester and a number of special exhibitions, including a selection of Stanley Spencer’s magnificent paintings for the Sandon Memorial Chapel – ‘Heaven in a Hell of War’ and ‘Artist’s Studies: from Pencil to Paint’ which studies the working methods of a number of major British artists, including Sickert, Bomberg and Sutherland. Dennis Creffield’s dramatic studies of French and English cathedrals will also be on view.
