We hope you will enjoy it, find it interesting, and if you are not yet a member will consider becoming one for we really are keen to attract new members. Anyone who is enthusiastic about  producing work in any medium is welcome to join us. Many of our members are quite experienced and professional, Others are new both to producing art and thinking about it. A visit to Exhibition 2012 will give you a good idea of some of the work our members have been producing.

Membership makes you elegible to submitt works for inclusion in our annual exhibition and to get involved in all the visits, activities and talks organised by us.

Members may also display 6 images of their work on this site together with a description of their aims and what they offer with a link to their own website and contact details. Note this is a very economic and convenient option for those with no website of their own, and promotes their site to more people if they have one..

Our aim is to make this website a place where members, potential members and anyone interested in art will be able to see what we are doing and what is coming up. We hope also to encourage discussion of that perennial subject, “what makes good art?” and hope members will write reviews of work they see.
